Australia and Ukraine are coming together to support one another in a world that often feels divided and uncertain. Recently, a video was released with messages of thanks from local Ukrainian women and children whose partners and fathers are on the frontline. This support has made a real difference to those on the ground, but it represents only a fraction of what has been achieved through the collective efforts of Australia and Ukraine. Together, we will continue to strive forward, drawing ever closer to Ukraine’s unequivocal triumph over the aggressor. This kind of mutual support is a reminder that, despite our differences, we are all part of a global community. When we come together and support one another, we can achieve great things.
